I always have the ribs (takeaway) whenever I go to a Spur and had never been to the Michigan Spur before even though I live around the corner and go past often. It just never appealed to me from the outside but I was extremely well surprised on my visit last week. The ribs were one of the top I've ever had at a Spur, with friendly and efficient staff member - I regrettably forgot his name. It was quite busy and there was a bit of a delay in my order being ready but it was well worth the wait. See you soon.

We had a birthday celebration on Saturday and boy oh boy the service we received from Sphenathi( i hope i got it right Grootman) was exceptional. From the get go service with a smile even tho we couldn't make up our minds my guy had the worlds patience. On behalf of my whole family i want to say thank you for making our visit pleasurable , Sphenathi siyabonga Grootman. The food was great service were excellent and the atmosphere the vibe were even better. Kudos to Michigan Spur in sun valley you guys were great. The energy that team have and the effort they put in to put a smile on your face its amazing. Keep up the good work

Great for kids and adults. My daughter had her birthday there at a very reasonable price. The adult table had just as much fun as the the kids table.

Does as says on tin Good value family restaurant. Can not fault value, huge portions and enough variety on menu to please everyone. Lacks a bit but it delivers on what it says it is.

We haven’t been to a Spur for years! Taking our adult children was quite an undertaking! We often pay exorbitant amounts for bad food. Here we had exceptionally good food. How wonderful...

I have 3 Spurs in Cape Town that I enjoy frequenting due to good service, cleanliness, great service and great food and Michigan Spur is one of the three. I always have a good experience when going to Michigan Spur. Highly recommend
