Yellow Hawk Spur – N14 Ventersdorp Yellow Hawk Spur on the N14 near Ventersdorp is a really good stop-over when travelling. Situated on the same premises as a well-known filling station, it’s ideally located for a quick breakfast and coffee break on the road. The restaurant is not very large, but the service is excellent and the food was better than expected. The manager came around for a friendly chat, which is always a nice touch and shows active involvement. Our waitress was also exceptional and attentive throughout the visit. I enjoyed a classic Spur Breakfast with a cappuccino and cream – absolutely delicious. The toilets were clean and well maintained, which is always important on a long road trip. Parking is easy and conveniently located right in front of the restaurant. With very few dining options along this stretch of the N14 for nearly 100 km, this Spur is truly a must-stop for families and travellers. Highly recommended.
