We stopped at spur for supper before heading back to our holiday accommodation for the week while staying in Plettenberg bay after a long adventure filled day returning back from Eastern Cape,my wife was looking forward to the rib special which she ordered and I had the double chicken schnitzel with chips and mushroom sauce, I must say I was a little disappointed with the size of the chicken schnitzel very small the one was much smaller than the other one but it tasted nice I did mentioned it to our waitress, we overheard how the male waiter share the specials and made suggestions to the nextdoor table by paying extra they can change the meal they order which in return created more revenue for the restaurant and good service if our waitress would've been so attentive we would've done the same you need to train your staff to be more business orientated selling the menu,bar one milkshake wasn't that good still runny and probably the sorbet ice.

I went a hour before closing on a Sunday night yet the staff still was friendly and polite. The order was brought out promptly and the staff was kind and made jokes . The food looks exactly like it does on the picture.

Still stays the tasty for life. It is a great edition to the spur franchise. It is very neat and well managed 👌. The waiter 'Alex' served us and is very friendly, helpful and efficient. He knows his menue and was was very helpful. The food was well prepared and presented. We had a great view over the sea.

We had a great experience at Yellowwood Spur in Plettenberg Bay. The food was exactly what you expect from Spur — well prepared, tasty, and served promptly — but what really stood out was the excellent service. Our waiter, Alex, was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. He checked in at just the right times, made sure everything was spot on, and really added to an enjoyable, relaxed meal. Service like that makes all the difference, and Alex is a real credit to the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back and will ask for him again.

Am not happy why waiters have to share tips? Or a certain percentage must be deducted from them to pay stuff.yellowwood spur is mistreating and abusing waiters and stuff...it's unceptable

Carlos is a compliment to your Brand

Great service and value. Had the nacho chicken schnitzel single with veg. Crumbed mushroom starter and half waffle for dessert. 10/10 and Carlos the manager came to chat. New decor. All great. We were told we could only have onion rings OR chips when the menu clearly said we could have both. We were told we couldn't have the waffles on the loyalty card because our bill wasn't R150 per item. when we queried it we were offered onion rings AFTER we had eaten everything. Just sad and sorry treatment from the manager. on arrival we were given the pensioners specials and we had to ask for the full menu.

Friendly Waitress Clean Tables Nice Atmosphere

We really enjoy our Monday date

Had a lovely dinner there with our visiting family. Carlos, the trainee, was our waiter for the evening. His service was excellent.

New waiter not up to usual standard

Food was good and service was excellent

Coffee was very weak. Tea came with hot milk when cold milk was ordered. Breakfast was great

celebrating my son's birthday was a breeze and all the kids had loads of fun. the face painting was amazing as well. Food is always the best.
