I’ve visited Spur at Springs Gate a couple of times now, and I’ve consistently had a great experience — especially thanks to one particular staff member who has served me twice. She is incredibly patient, which I truly appreciate because I can be quite inquisitive (and a little indecisive 😅) when ordering. Despite that, she remained attentive and helpful throughout. On my last visit, I mentioned I was craving something sour, and she recommended a drink that turned out to be absolutely perfect — easily a 10/10. The food arrived on time and was enjoyable, and the overall service from the team was warm and welcoming. The staff are kind, and the restaurant itself is well-kept — the bathrooms were clean, which is always a big plus. One suggestion I would make is regarding the peri-peri sauce. I would really appreciate it if this branch could offer the standard Spur peri-peri sauce, rather than the one served in the small bowl, as I personally didn’t enjoy it as much. Overall, a lovely experience with great service. I’ll definitely be returning.

I’d like to highly thank Kagiso Khanyi if I remember well, oh Spur Springs gate she’s one of a kind she was in the play area the service she gave was top tier my son used to cry when I wanted to do face paint but guess what this time around an angel did ah Kagiso sis thank you so much for the wonderful experience ♥️

Me and my husband regularly eat at prairie hawk spur but last night was an other worldly experience. From the moment we walked into Spur we were greeted with smiles and laughs. Lungelo our waiter went beyond his duties and made not just our but my children's evening memorable. If I could give a 100 rating I would. Best spur in South Africa with the best service, freshest food and most amazing atmosphere.

My family and i went to Prairie Hawk Spur, our waitress was Busisiwe Mthimunye. I would just like to compliment this lady on the excellent job she did. Although it was late and im sure she was tired we where served with a smile. She spoke Afrikaans and English to us and she made sure we had everything at all times. Thank you Busisiwe for making us feel warm and welcome. You deserve a raise, a bonus or a promotion! You where a star!
