Service was friendly but slow!

My first time at this Spur branch, but lovely restaurant. Waitress was friendly, welcoming and warm. She served us quickly and we were very happy. Not much of an atmosphere as the restaurant was very quiet with very few customers at that time of day during the week (10:30am - not Spurs fault as the atmosphere at Sput is always more vibrant when busy but the amosphere was still okay). Easily accessible and sufficient parking. We sat inside due to the weather (overcast and a bit chilly), but there benches and tables outside, which must be lovely on warm sunny days.

This SPUR has upped their game significantly. Their staff now engages with the customer in a way that is close to on par with an expensive poche upmarket restaurant - the way you are received, seated and served throughout your experience! Great job guys! In particular I'd like to comment Justin a super, super young talent. Such a pleasure!

By far the best experience I’ve had at a Spur. The restaurant is modern with classic Spur flair, it’s filled with natural light and the view is breathtaking. The manager was super friendly and the service was great! Food was delicious! 10/10 We will definitely be making the drive to Mountain Peak Spur again. It’s well worth it.

We were at this Spur on the 8th of July,Celebrating our Daughter's 1st Birthday. Our elderly father was with Us and struggled to walk. The Manager Ray organized a wheelchair from the centre. We didn't know the the shopping centre had a wheelchair. Thank you Ray!! The Birthday was amazing with the most Friendliest Waiter also. Keep Up the good vibes. 👏👏👏👏

We've been to the Mountain View Spur twice. Both times it was extremely disappointing. The food was not what we expect from Spur, portions were poor, especially of the onion rings. The meat-free burger was tasteless and of unacceptable quality, clearly not grilled with any basting, was dry and tasteless. The meat burger patty was extremely thin, the chips were over done, not fresh and obviously pre-fried from frozen. The prices had gone up and were exorbitant for the quality. There are so many really good meat-free burger patties available that this is just not acceptable, especially as I ordered the most expensive option on the menu. Thinking this is the Winelands doesn't give you the right to charge the same as the wine farms. The quality doesn't remotely compare. We'll never go to there again. We're shocked that anyone can accept poor quality like this.
